Shorty Shorts

These are the Tofutsies socks I started months ago for Bran. I absolutely loved the yarn and plan to use it again in the very near future having bought the right needles to use it with. The yarn feels incredibly thin and I felt the need to use a size 1 (2.25) needle with it. Which meant using an old set of dpns. Those of you who know me know how much I hate dpns. Which is why it took several months to complete these socks. Even though I totally love the yarn. They're done now and he loves them. He wanted short socks to wear with his sneakers and these are perfect for him. I'm so glad he loves the things I knit him. Everyone should be so lucky.

It's amazing what that little difference of .25mm will do on a sock. I love my Knitpicks circulars just for that reason. I love having them for when my Addis are just a touch too big.

Very nice socks, and better yet, Bran actually likes them. Hooray!

And how is Dexter coming along? Putting big smiles on everyone's faces, I'm sure.

Hope all is well with you and yours. Have a great day. :)

The socks look great, and sometimes we just have to bite the bullet and use needles we'd rather not have to to get the right efect. Well done.
I now have some Tofutsies, and I can't wait to get started on a pair of socks, but I have about 3 other pairs I have to do first.

Nice pair of socks, and you are lucky. My hubby comes up with all kinds of excuses. Mainly, why should he wear, and possibly ruin, somthing I spent so much time making. What a doofus! Right? And I bet your Brad has warmer feet than my hubby has, but it's his own fault! haha :)
