Happy Mother's Day!!!

I hope all the moms out there have a wonderful day! We're heading to brunch at Embassy Suites in Loveland. They have an amazing buffet for certain special occasions. We went for Easter and have been looking forward to going back since.

And since this is a knitting blog...I have a couple FOs to show. One of the girls in our complex office is expecting her 3rd baby. And it's her 1st boy!

Baby Surprise Jacket  Because every new little bundle should have one. I worked this in fingering weight on a US 4 needle. I extended the sleeves and added a 3 stitch I-cord bind off.

And gramps  Because how cute. I worked this one in Red Heart (shudder) and made no mods other than to omit the elbow patches. The sleeves are so wee that I thought placement would be difficult.

I plan to gift these this week since the mom is due pretty soon. I hope she loves them and they get lots of use!
