Pasta La Vista

Tonight we tried a new restaurant over in Lake Placid. It's called Pasta La Vista. Isn't that clever? And the food was so good. They've not been open too long, maybe just since the end of summer or so, and I'm so sorry now that we didn't go sooner. I had tortellini with fresh broccoli and chicken in a rosa sauce. Yum.

I've not had much time to knit on Daddy's sock lately. I did get to pick it up for about 10 minutes today and got a couple more inches done on the foot. I tried an EOP heel on this one and I must say that I really like it. I've never done one before. I love the look of it. I hope like hell my father likes the fit and feel of it now.

What do you think? I love the way it's coming along.

This one shows a little more detail. I still love all those little cables.

Kerry, Where did you get the insert for your sock? The thing your sock is displayed on? I don't even know what they're called, but I'm dying to get my hands on a pair. Please send me the info at graphicdesignchick at hotmail dot com - thanks, Robyn
