Rain, Rain Go Away...

Today is the 12th day in a row that it has rained. I hate to complain because we do need it. But come on. Enough is enough. Thursday morning was and part way into the afternoon was gorgeous so we snuck a quick walk to the end of the road to look for ducks at the lake. I don't have the heart to tell Dailaesse that there are never any ducks in our lake. She has a "where there's water, there's a duck" thought process. This is why she wonders why they don't live in our pool.

I'd like to say that since it's been so rainy that I've been getting lots of knittng done but that wouldn't be true. I did start these today for Dailaesse. I'm knitting them in Melody 100% Wool yarn that I bought from Jojoland on eBay. Very nice yarn. I like the way it's working up. I'm working them both at the same time on one of my trusty 40" size 1 Addi Turbos.

I also signed up for the Pomatomus KAL. I'll be using this hand dyed yarn I bought from Savvyminx Yarns. Gorgeous isn't it? I can't wait to see what she posts next.

Wow, I had a lot to catch up on. I've been so remiss of late in visiting my favorite blogs. But better late than never, yes?

We've had weeks of rain too, but they tell us it is over for a while now. I sure hope they are right. But it should make for some great haying later on, and that will make DH happy.

I LOVE your new hand dyed yarn. I am planning on doing that Pomatomus pattern too, very soon, using some Opal yarn I have, but I need to finish a few other projects first. Like a certain Flowerbasket Shawl for instance?? hee hee

Poor you, I can well relate to your feelings about that bad weather - here it's been raining nonstop since days, and I'm so sick of it too - it's supposed to be spring and warm and nice outside, isn't it? :(
I absolutely adore the new yarn you got, these colors are so bright and cheerful, definitely perfect for cheering you up when you see all that grayness outside! Looking forward to seeing your Pomatomus', I'm just knitting my first pair and love the pattern!
