All Play and No Posting

Makes for one hell of a boring blog. I know. I'm hanging my head in shame. Really.

My husband finally went back to work yesterday after being home for over a week. I have mixed feelings about this. I love my husband. I love him more than I ever imagined I could love any man. BUT. He's a lot of work. While Bran was home we lived a life of leisure. Seriously. Even Dailaesse slept in until 11 each morning. We did lots of shopping. Lots of wrapping. Lots of playing. We started a fort in the backyard with the kids. Then it rained. We haven't gotten enough snow yet to start building again. I'm looking forward to getting that finished. We did lots of eating. Just lots of everything. It was wonderful. BUT. I did very little housework. I did very little knitting. I did very little cooking. I did very little blogging. See a pattern here??? So while I miss my husband very much, I'm also glad to be back into my old routine.

So how was everyone's New Year??? Has anyone made any unique resolutions? I don't bother. It takes more than a New Year for me to decide to stick to something. After moving things around in my fiber room I've decided that I definitely need to buy more yarn. Now there's a resolution I can make and know that I won't feel like crap in a month because I broke it.

Any new projects for the New Year? I've got one. I'll share it with you tomorrow. For now, I'm off to get Dan from the gym. I'm so glad tobe back with you all again. Have a great night!

Welcome back Kerry,

I've missed reading the daily doings at the Krone residence. But I'm also glad that the family had a nice week or so together for doing family activities. That is so important today.

Can't wait to find out what you will be up to next.

I'm all for increasing the stash. I almost joined the stashalong but even hubby agreed that was asking way too much of me.
He thinks I don't spend much on yarn, what he doesn't know won't hurt him, lol.
PS. It is nice to have the hubby home but a gal can't get any knitting done when they are!

ok- what's the stashalong???? I haven't been reading a lot of groups lately so obviously have missed something....

The Germans used to say woman's place was KKK: Kirche (church), Kinder (children), Kueche (kitchen). In this case it's Kerry, Keyboard, Knitting :) Nice to see you back at the keyboard, Kerry.

Welcome Back! Missed you, but am delighted that you all had such a good time. I agree that having my oh-so-dear hubby home is distracting!
I also have no clue what a stashalong is, but my imagination is working overtime. Do tell . . .
